Fay Servicing Hires Wanda Montgomery to Lead Foreclosure Department

CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Fay Servicing, a residential mortgage special servicer and originator, has selected Wanda Montgomery to join as the firm’s senior vice president of foreclosure operations.

In her new role, Montgomery will be based out of Fay Servicing’s Carrollton, TX office and she will lead the foreclosure department across multiple locations while reporting directly to Andy Laing, chief operating officer of Fay Servicing. Given the increasing risks and heightened compliance requirements associated with non-performing loans, Montgomery’s more than 21 years of experience in default servicing will be a major asset for Fay Servicing as it continues to grow its platform beyond whole loans and into agency and HUD loans.

Most recently, Montgomery led a team of foreclosure consultants at Fannie Mae that traveled to servicers with underperforming foreclosure groups to assess the operations, provide support, help them utilize available technologies and implement industry best practices and process efficiencies. Prior to that role, Montgomery led First American’s Default Outsource Operation that was acquired from Washington Mutual Mortgage where she had worked for over a decade running both foreclosure and bankruptcy departments.
