Having Difficulty Making Payments?
If your mortgage loan is serviced by Fay Servicing and you are experiencing an unexpected hardship or life change and having difficulty making your monthly payment, or if you anticipate that you may have such difficulty in the near future, Fay Servicing may have options available to help you avoid foreclosure. These options include special loan modifications and forbearance agreements.
If you have questions or want to discuss your current financial situation, please contact Fay Servicing or your personal Home Loan Consultant at (800) 495-7166. A Home Loan Consultant is available to speak with you Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Central Time).
When you call, your Home Loan Consultant may request the following documents to determine whether you qualify for a loan modification:
• Personal letter or affidavit explaining your hardship or life change • Copies of your two most recent pay stubs • Copies of all Form W-2s to reflect your employment during each of the last two years • Completed and signed IRS Form 4506-T • Copy of a recent utility bill (e.g., electric bill, gas bill, water bill, phone bill, etc.) • Copy of a recent personal bank statement • Copy of your most recently filed federal tax return with all schedules (if self-employed) • Copy of your most recent quarterly or year-to-date profit/loss statement (if self-employed) • Award letter stating your Social Security, disability, or pension earnings (if applicable)
Following a FREE assessment of your financial situation, the Home Loan Consultant will know whether you qualify for one of the programs we offer to help you avoid foreclosure. If you qualify, your Home Loan Consultant will help you understand your options and guide you through the enrollment process – and like the financial assessment, these services will be provided to you for FREE.
